Understanding Cancellations, Delays & Changes in Schedules
98% of Team Alex's transports arrive safely and within the estimated timeline. However, delays and cancellations are common risks in vehicle transport due to factors such as weather, construction, breakdowns, and other unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations occur in approximately 25% of transports and can happen multiple times for a single delivery.
If your vehicle is canceled, there's no need to worry; common causes include breakdowns, driver emergencies, or maintenance issues. Ideally, a breakdown should happen before your vehicle is picked up, as those after pickup usually result in longer delays. Typically, 15-20 vehicles are waiting for each available space on a transporter, making it challenging to find replacements. However, we usually assign a substitute carrier quickly.
At Team Alex, we refer to pickup and delivery times as "estimated" due to potential changes. When adjustments are necessary, we work to stay as close to the original dates as possible and keep you informed. We are committed to making your transport experience smooth.
