Why does it take so long to get vehicles picked up?

For every available spot on a transport truck, there are typically 15 to 20 cars waiting for a ride. We’ve grown accustomed to services like Uber, but it's unrealistic to expect a transport truck to be available at every street corner. In reality, the demand for transportation far exceeds the supply, which is why it often takes a few days to find an opening.

As mentioned in our quotes, standard pickup usually occurs within 3 to 4 days from the ready-to-ship date. We always strive to find the fastest possible arrangement. During this time, Team Alex uses all available resources to secure an opening for your vehicle going in the desired direction.

Keep in mind that the more remote or challenging the route, the harder it can be to find a suitable opening. This also applies to “special” transports, such as lifted, lowered, or enclosed vehicles, as well as those with add-ons. The more specific your transport requirements, the longer it typically takes to locate a carrier that can accommodate those needs.
