Purchasing a vehicle without seeing it in person can be exciting, but it also comes with challenges, particularly regarding the car's condition upon arrival. Even brand-new vehicles may have issues that the seller has not disclosed or that could have been overlooked. Additionally, some problems might not be visible in photos. Minor scratches or dents can lead to disappointment when the vehicle is delivered.

To reduce the risks associated with purchasing vehicles, many consumers choose to hire third-party inspectors. These inspectors provide an unbiased report on the vehicle's condition, including photographs, known issues, and its history.

While transport damage is rare, it can still occur during vehicle transport. For Team Alex, transport damage happens in only about 2-3% of all transports, which is significantly lower than the industry average. However, we understand that being part of that 2-3% is never easy.

It is important to inspect the vehicle as soon as it arrives. If you believe the vehicle was damaged during transport, please make sure to note this on the bill of lading. Additionally, take pictures or videos of the damage as soon as you notice it, preferably while the carrier is still present.

You have a 24-hour window after the delivery of the vehicle to file a claim with Team Alex using the provided claim link. Please keep in mind that if you do not file a claim within this timeframe, it may be denied because the insurance company could argue that the damage occurred after delivery due to the elapsed time.
